Teddy Jackson works primarily in Oil and Acrylic. Her favorite subject is landscape, though she has paints a wide variety of subjects. She has studied painting internationally in France and Scandinavia. Teddy began plein air painting in 2006, attending the yearly Augusta, MO Plein Air Events and Stems Plein Air Paint, Overland Park, KS, the Big Cedar Lodge Plein Air Paint Out near Branson, MO, and the Door County Plein Air Festival, Door County, WI. She is an active member of the Missouri Valley Impressionist Society painting regularly in their Paint Outs and the special events. When she is not painting, Teddy teaches classes and workshops and encourages others to get involved in the art community. She also volunteers her time to several art organizations.
