Jennifer Bricker-Pugh grew up in the small town of Lucas, Kansas. The quilted farmland, rolling hills, and prevalence of Grassroots Art played a large role in her vision as an artist. She studied fine art at Fort Hays State University and was greatly influenced by the works of 20th Century Abstract Expressionist painter, Mark Rothko. After graduating from FHSU, she moved to Kansas City where she continues to create beautiful ethereal mixed media paintings at her studio in Overland Park, Kansas. Jennifer's work is in many private collections, including University of Missouri-Kansas City, Bishop McCann, and Meara Welch Brown Accounting Firm.
